The new 6 is a very good car, I just wish it had a bit more power. Not insane amounts more, just another 30-40 hp and it'd have been perfect IMO.

The sales guy was trying to show me how to use the voice command thing. I don't know why they both doing this - it works 10% of the time, and in most cases it's just easier to hit the button!

It never felt slow or out of breath. The engine wasn't nearly as weazy as I thought it would be. I just wished the cabin noise wasn't so isolated - it was difficult to hear the engine when I was revving it in first.

2007 Volvo S60R Manual. It needs new suspension ($4,000).

I can get a 6 with a stick, leather, and a sunroof for $24,500.

It was very similar to driving my fiance's gen2 3 hatch with the sky-g engine. It's not....bad, but I like a bit more passing power since most of my driving is on the freeway, and to me the current sky just doesn't have enough punch when you're at speed to make me happy. It's great at slower speeds, gets great mileage, and she loves it, it just didn't have enough pull to make me happy. And yeah it's VERY quiet, I missed a couple shifts on the MTX version I test drove cause I didn't hear the engine getting up in the rev range.

That's awesome! Suspension issues aside...

Side note: Your Oppo review is the third hit when one Googles "2007 S60R". Also, I think you did well to pick that over the MS3. I love my MS6, but that thing just looks fun.

Haha thanks - I had no clue my review actually still gets looked at!

The MS3 was nice, cheaper, and less expensive to maintain. Another factor which stopped me from buying it was the exhaust drone in the cabin - it was really, really loud and annoying.
